Summer Fest ’10

Today was First Baptist Church’s Summer Fest. It was the end of our VBS and it was a great day! It was an awesome outreach with the Dan Wetzel, a Christian motivational speaker who uses basketball tricks. We also had a Hoops for Haiti tourney, a car show, cook out, Elvis impersonator, inflatables, facepaintings, and balloons. It was a great day reaching out to the community.

It is so wonderful being back at First Baptist. It really feels like home. Nathan and I moved home on Sunday at 2:20am and Wednesday we started helping with VBS. It was so fun to minister with this church again.

I think I am going to look for some temp agencies and get a temporary job while we are looking for a Youth Pastorate. Please keep us in your prayers! Thanks you!
